Vincent saw the world through a fog of sadness.
He read sad poetry.
He listened to sad songs.
He looked at sad paintings.
Vincent was very comfortable with sad things.
But Vincent was not sad himself.
Although he rarely smiled,
And his laugh was more like a little cough,
Vincent had found his bliss…
And his bliss was feeling blue.
So, Vincent had sad blue eyes.
He had grey forlorn frayed hair.
He had a crooked mouth that turned down on one side.
Vincent looked so sad,
Folks were always trying to cheer him up…
And that made Vincent really sad.
What you love is not always who you are…
Day 2 of my September project. This time I am doing a different theme for each day of the week.
And today is “Tale Spin Tuesday” … A drawing or image, and a “tale”… improvised to go with the image…
It’s a sort of experiment… and a testament to my restless state of mind… 🙂
So, here we go…. September’s different themes for each day of the week:
“Tale Spin Tuesday”
& “Seriously Silly Sunday”
