The hunter engaged and ready for the chase
The hunter engaged and ready for the chase
A twitching tiger hidden inside a dreaming
A twitching tiger hidden inside a dreaming
Dreaming inside a tiger, twitching for a chase
The hidden engaged and ready the hunter

A quiver rumble, a demand and a comfort
A quiver rumble, a demand and a comfort
Holds one tight in slumber nose to tail
Holds one tight in slumber nose to tail
A slumber in demand holds comfort tight
One nose a quiver and a tail to rumble

Of mice and men who are lost to frightening eyes
Of mice and men who are lost to frightening eyes
Birds of emerald locked in broken flight
Birds of emerald locked in broken flight
Of emerald eyes locked, and of birds in flight lost
Broken, frightening to men who are mice
.
One emerald broken holds in slumber men
Ready to comfort, a demand eyes engaged
Of mice and birds and to the hunter of the chase
A hidden nose and tail a quiver in twitching flight
A frightening rumble for who are lost
Locked tight inside a dreaming tiger

Don’t look at me like that!

Meowing won’t get you anymore food…

Behave yourself, you silly cat!

Don’t look at me like that!

Purring, rubbing, dead gifts on the mat,

Just add to this meal time feud!

Don’t look at me like that!

Meowing won’t get you anymore food…

I don’t have the answers to the woes of the world…
I can’t even solve my own…
but a little fuzzy love…
and mindless distraction…
helps bring the stress level down…

.

It’s been that kind of day….

.

.

Hope your’s has been better….

Meet Little Fifi, a rather large, fluffy tabby cat
and yes, she really did look just like that.
Fifi had a special talent for curling into a ball.
She was so good at it that she barely looked like a cat at all.
She loved to tucked her tail in tight
and draw in all her paws until every limb disappeared from sight.
On very cold days, her nose would disappear beneath her
and her ears would bend and blend into her fur.
So complete was her ability to hide
that only the gray stripes of her tabby fur gave hint to the feline inside.
Often she could be found purring on her favorite red pillow,
looking ever so much like a tabby striped tribble or a giant marshmallow.
The only thing that could get her to uncurl against her wish,
was the sound of the can opener and the smell of tuna fish.
Little Fifi was the best cat of all,
especially if you liked large purring, furry hair balls…

Hope you enjoy a bit of bad improv poetry for this rather cold and wintery Caturday… I so wish I could curl myself into a warm furry ball…

Mr. Hand Turkey suddenly felt very uncomfortable with the Furry family gathering….  The fact that he was made of paper did not seem to still the quivering of whiskers… However, he was determined to be happy about not to be alone on Thanksgiving… His four new feline friends made him feel right at home… Then they created a bit of holiday origami….

Hope your holiday has been full of love and thankfulness…!

I’m ready for Life to stop throwing random things at me…
or at least slow it down a bit…

It’s all fuzzy and cuteness… until it’s flying at your face…

November has started without me…
The family crisis that interrupted my daily art project in October continues. I am overwhelmed and really wishing for “my mommy”… but that miracle of having someone come along and fix all my problems is not going to happen… So, I’ll settle for an occational hug from a friend… and just keep going forward as best I can.

I also have to accept that it’s okay to be cranky and tired…

…… I will post nonsense here when I can… and hope that the future hands me a life where I get more time for my silly art…

……………. and does anyone know how to teach kittens not to jump up on kitchen counters?

…………………………………………….. *sigh* …………………………….

……………………………………………………………. one just bit my toe…

You really need to be careful what you say in front of your cats…
You never know how carefully they are listening…

And how they will use that information…
